1. Choose the dataset you are interested in from the layer selection .
2. Use the following techniques to focus the map on your area of interest:

These tools can be used in conjunction with the visible zoom controls .

If you know the name of a place or postcode of interest use the search tool to find it.

Click the zoom to layer extent tool to view the dataset layer in its entirety.

1. Select the drawing tool and use it to create an area on the map by left clicking repeatedly to define a polygon. Double click to finish.

   At any time whilst drawing you can create a freehand area by pressing shift + left click + drag.

2. In the popup box which subsequently appears, select the dataset you are interested in as well as the format you would like your data to be in.

3. Finish the process by clicking Ok. You can always use the editing tool later on to update the choices you made or delete the area.

   You can navigate whilst drawing, but selecting navigation mode allows you to move around the map more freely.

Clicking the download tool will let you package up the areas you have defined for downloading. Simply enter your email address and click Package. Your package will be created by the server after which you will be emailed with a download link.
